Scholarship from the University of Twente (UTS) The scholarship is intended for international applicants who wish to obtain a Master’s degree in various Master’s programmes at the University of Twente. The University of the Netherlands offers around 50 one-year Master’s scholarships with a value of EUR 3,000 – EUR 25,000. The scholarship can be used for a master’s programme lasting one or two years.
Other benefits include attending the opening of the academic year together with university VIPs, being one of the most promising university students, as well as exclusive opportunities to participate in three award programmes, namely research honours, design honours or leaders of change.
Specifically for two years of study, there are additional criteria for extending the UTS scholarships in the second year.
These criteria include an average score of 7 (out of 10) at the end of the third quarter of the first year, taking at least 50 percent of European Credits at the end of the third quarter of the first year and taking 90 percent of European Credits before the start of the second year programme.

Registration for UT scholarships is independent of the application for admission to study at the University of Twente. In addition to funding, you must first obtain a letter of admission.
You have been accepted (provisionally) on one of the UT Master’s programmes that qualifies from the 2019/2020 academic year (September). Please note: After completing your application, it may take up to 8 weeks before you receive your results.
You must have a student source
You have not graduated from the UT 4 postgraduate programme.

Before applying for a scholarship, applicants must first register for one of the Master’s programmes at the University of Twente (listed above). The deadline for admission to the university is 1 May 2019 for conferences starting in September 2019. And the next deadline is 1 October 2019 for conferences starting in February 2020. After being temporarily accepted by obtaining a conditional admission letter, you can register for the scholarship programme using the student number you have obtained.
Registration for the UTS 2019 Scholarship opens online at the UTS website. Registration for the first term scholarships is open from 15 October 2018 to 1 February 2019 for the September 2019 conference.
In addition, registration for the University of Twente scholarship for the second period is open from 1 May 2019 to 1 September 2019 for conferences from January 2020.
